Magnus Olesen has manufactered functional, durable yet aesthetic design since
1937 - Made in Denmark.
Magnus Olesen was founded in 1937 with a strong belief in Danish Design and
craftsmanship. Magnus Olesen is today a well-reputed furniture company, developing and manufacturing design furniture of high quality and durability.
Over the course of time the company has worked with well-respected designers
such as Danish Modern designer Ib Kofod-Larsen in the 1950s, Rud Thygesen &
Johnny Sørensen in the 1970s & 1980s, Says Who and Øivind Slaatto today –
always remaining true to the Magnus Olesen design roots but still keeping up with
the developments of time.
Due to its design history, Magnus Olesen has built an extensive portfolio of both
Danish classics as well as contemporary designs. Today, the designs can be seen
in a multitude of architectural projects as well as in private homes.
Magnus Olesen has always been focused on longevity and sustainability – good design
that lasts. The company has its production in Durup, Denmark. The Magnus Olesen
showroom is placed in beautiful surroundings in the center of Copenhagen.
